"Do you know what is wrong with your country?"
This pointed question was reportedly asked of then U.S. Secretary of State Cyrus Vance by my dear, late friend, Dr. Charles Malik, former President of the United Nations General Assembly. The Secretary responded that he did not. "I'll tell you what is wrong," said Dr. Malik. "You have taken Jesus Christ out of your universities."
The same is no doubt true of all of America's schools. Fisher Ames, the actual writer of the final version of the First Amendment, later wrote that the Bible must be kept as the number one textbook. He said that the Bible was the source of morality and behavior in America. Biblical principles permeated public life.
Benjamin Rush, another Founding Father, signer of the Declaration of Independence and who served in the administrations of three presidents (Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and John Adams), wrote that if the Bible is ever removed from the schools, we would suffer from an explosion of crime! Spoken two centuries ago, Rush was amazingly prophetic. In our day, God, the Bible and prayer have been replaced in our schools with handguns, drugs and condoms. The results have been disastrous.
Our country began a paradigm social shift in 1947 with the infamous U.S. Supreme Court ruling about "the separation of church and state." Since then the nation has been experiencing a frightening trend in social breakdown. We are engulfed in a tidal wave of immorality and violence. Surely, evil has been with us since the Garden of Eden. But evil's statistics in the United States were relatively flat until God, the Bible and prayer were removed in the schools. The year 1962 was when the statistics began a sharp trend upward.
Why 1962? That was the year that the Supreme Court made another historic, infamous decision, violating two centuries of legal precedent and tradition, and delivered, with Engel v. Vitale, a decision that removed prayer from our schools.
The prayer that caused the great controversy was a simple, nonsectarian, 22-word prayer. Take a look at it and consider what this nation has lost since its words were declared illegal and banned: "Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on thee and we beg thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers and our country."
America desperately needs an answer to that missing prayer.
Commit yourselves completely to these words of mine . . . Teach them to your children (Deuteronomy 11:18-19, NLT).

Thomas Jefferson, one of our Founding Fathers and the first professor of law in his new country, spoke these following words in his day and they are so real for today in America.
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."
"That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves."
"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."
"Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence."
"No man will ever carry out of the Presidency the reputation which carried him into it."
"The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers."
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
"All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression."
"Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then be trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the form of kings to govern him? Let history answer this question."

America's Freedom
The truth revealed -- and PC myths shattered -- about the Founding Fathers
The Founding Fathers constitute the most important group of men in American history -- but their reputations need resuscitation. In The Politically Incorrect Guide™ to the Founding Fathers, Brion McClanahan highlights the true historical record of the founding generation, refutes the false attacks on their reputations, and shows how it was from their debates -- and their bedrock conservative principles -- that we secured our liberty.
Even better, The Politically Incorrect Guide™ to the Founding Fathers shows that if you want real and relevant insights into the issues of banking, war powers, executive authority, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, states’ rights, gun control, judicial activism, trade, and taxes, you’d be better served reading the Founders than you would be watching congressional debates on C-SPAN or reading the New York Times.
Our First Amendment rights are under attack directly from the White House in regard to the National Health Care bill before Congress.
It is a bold attack on our free speech directly from the Obama Administration right on their blog page written by the White House Director of News Media. They are worried about what is being written and posted on the internet from ordinary Americans that are fed up with the new "Push-It-Down-Their-Throats" Health Care Plan.
They do not like what is being said from Americans and referring to it as "a lot of disinformation about health care reform" floating around on the web and through email channels.
Basically they are asking for Americans to report on other Americans that are engaged in this sending of information they deem erroneous. Anyone that is disagreeing with the Presidents' Health Plan and spreading "disinformation" needs to be reported to the White House blog page.
This strikes at the very heart of free speech granted unto us by the First Amendment. It has no place in the important debate about health care for America.
Since there is a growing concern across America about this plan, the Obama Administration want to stifle some or all of it.
Americans have the constitutional right to express their opinion and concerns about health care. This wrong move by the Obama Administration is nothing more than a blatant attempt to intimidate those who have legitimate concerns about his health care plan.
To understand the Truth behind Obama's proposed health care reform plan, you need to click here and read this short memo to bring you up to date.

Hopefully most Americans know of the overhaul being performed on our HealthCare system in our country by the Obama administration.
He wants to get it done quickly and the Senators and Representatives probably by their own admission have not even read the 1140 page bill.
In its current form, this is not for America.
Click here to read the main "talking" and "sticky" points that need addressing or removing before this bill can even be considered.
If you never contacted your Senator or Representative in the past about any issues before them, this is the one you had better read up on and email or phone your elected officials in Washington.
The first anti-gun bill of the 111th Congress -– Chicago Congressman Bobby Rush’s H.R. 45 –- has caught the attention of many in the Second Amendment community as something we need to be worried about.
This is because of the extremity of the bill:
* H.R. 45 would require a federal license for all handguns and semiautomatics, including those you currently possess; and
* It would require handgun and semi-auto owners to be thumbprinted at the police station and to sign a certificate that, effectively, the firearm will not be kept in a place where it would be available for the defense of the gun owner’s family.
Pretty scary, huh? But, while this despotic nuttiness makes you wonder why a congressman from the Murder Capital of the Midwest would think that it would help to make the residents of New Hampshire, Alaska, and Wyoming comply with his blood-soaked city’s anti-gun laws, there have been other bills which are just as unconstitutional.

House Considers Repealing 22nd Amendment
Earlier this year, Rep. Jose Serrano, D-N.Y. introduced H. J. Res. 5, a bill that would repeal the Constitution’s 22nd Amendment which prohibits a president from being elected to more than two terms i office, thus potentially paving the way to make Barack Obama president for life. Not surprisingly, the corporate media currently caught up in Obama-mania has not covered this story.
“Will George W. Bush end up being the last true U.S. President?” asked Sher Zieve, writing for the Canadian Free Press on Januar 14. “ As I warned you on mulple times prior to the 2008 General Election,
‘Once Obama is elected, we won’t be able to get rid of him.’ Tragically, this warning is now being realized. Not only has Obama established his election-fraud organization ACORN nationwide, his adherents have now begun the process to Repeal the U.S. Constitution’s 22nd Amendment.”

Church and State
"Through the years in our nation the First Amendment has constructed a wall between church and state. That wall must be kept high and impregnable. We could not approve the slightest breach."
A strong statement that has caused many arguments and court cases in America pertaining to
a clear separation of church and state.
This announcement from our Supreme Court in 1947 in a case Everson v. Board of Education was the first occasion on which the Court declared there to be a separation of church and state in the First Amendment.
Following that ruling some 62 years ago, the Court began to unravel the fabric of American society by reversing a long-standing national tradition.
Using that 1947 ruling, look at what has happened in America since then.
A verbal prayer offered in a school is unconstitutional, even if it is both voluntary and denominationally neutral. Engel v. Vitale, 1962
Freedom of speech and press is guaranteed to students unless the topic is religious, at which time such speech becomes unconstitutional. Collins v. Chandler Unified School District, 1981
If a student prays over his lunch, it is unconstitutional for him to pray aloud. Reed v. van Hoven, 1965
It is unconstitutional for a kindergarten class to recite: "God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food." Wallace v. Jaffree, 1985
It is unconstitutional for a Board of Education to use or refer to the word "God" in any of its official writings. State of Ohio v. Whisner, 1976
And the list goes on through the years. Have the judges on our courts not read the First Amendment and the intent as established by our Founding Fathers?

America's Freedom
It was only 233 years ago that our nation issued a clarion call for independence with principles still valid today, even though there are some footprints of misappropriations on many by today's political activist judges.
The signers of the Declaration of Independence endured sacrifice of labor and blood. There were 56 men signing this document 233 years ago. Their lives displayed death from war injuries to nine of them. Five were captured, thrown into prison and beaten. Many lost their wives, sons, daughters and some entire families. One signer actually lost 13 children. Even two wives were severely beaten.
All 56 at one time or other became victims of manhunts and even driven from their homes, while 20 actually suffered the total burning of their homes.
And some Americans today think we have a hard time.
Our nation's birth certificate, the Declaration of Independence, was purchased at an extremely high price. Thomas Jefferson said, "Without God, our struggle for independence and freedom would surely have failed."
For today, it remains for us to ask ourselves, "Just how long can America maintain her freedom?"
The political forces in Washington, D.C. seem so ready and willing to dominate corporations, financial institutions, newsroom and even our churches and religious freedom.
We must be willing to fight and give it our all, much like our Founding Fathers, if America is to survive and be the country it was intended to be some 233 years ago.
TrustTruth.com will do our part. How about you?

April 15 saw a nationwide phenomenon of grassroots rallies for liberty, smaller government, and lower taxes, dubbed “TEA Parties” (Taxed Enough Already), in honor of the Boston Tea Party of the Revolutionary era.
This Independence Day, July 4, 2009, the TEA-partiers are gearing up for another surge of rallies to fight yet more surges of big government proposals from an already power-bloated Washington, D.C.
Find your local TEA Party at the “official” TEA Party website by clicking here.
It’s time Americans began defending our independence from tyranny rather than merely celebrating it.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".
The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that expressly prohibits the United States Congress from making laws "respecting an establishment of religion" or that prohibit the free exercise of religion, infringe the freedom of speech, infringe the freedom of the press, limit the right to peaceably assemble, or limit the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Although the First Amendment only explicitly applies to the Congress, the Supreme Court has interpreted it as applying to the executive and judicial branches. Additionally, in the 20th century, the Supreme Court held that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment applies the limitations of the First Amendment to each state, including any local government within a state.

Churches in America are unique in many ways, but thanks to our Constitution, the government is not allowed to make one denomination to dominate all others. Sadly though, this situation does exist in some foreign countries, but not in America.
Our Constitution does not prevent the church from influencing the government, as the words "separation of church and state" do not appear anywhere on it's pages, but it does prevent our government from influencing the church.
Let us all thank God as July 4th approaches for guiding our Founding Fathers in forming the Constitution of this God-blessed land we call America.

Welcome
Why has America drifted so far from the principles set forth by our Founding Fathers that they incorporated into the Declaration of Independence? Today America is exhibiting too much apathy about what is transpiring in Washington and across our great country.
Are we to simply stand aside and permit America to become a Third World country with no principles, morals or leadership? I certainly pray this will not happen.
Each one of us should do our part in restoring America. The TrustTruth.com Blog was formed so that all of us ordinary American citizens can voice our concerns and offer to do our part in bringing back the America that was intended by our Founding Fathers.
